Are Splash Sabino Arabians purebred?
YES! Historically called parti-colored, part-colored or pinto Arabian; spotting has
been in the Arabian breed since the desert. They were highly prized by the
Bedouin tribes and the "best mares" were often multi-colored according to
historical documents, drawings and legends. Many of the Crabbett horses had
body white and other flashy markings. Sabino can be found in many highly
prized bloodlines in the Arabian breed. All our horses have been parentage
verified through blood typing and/or DNA. All our purebred splash sabino foals
are guaranteed registrable with the Arabian Horse Registry. See this article on

Aren't all Splash Arabians deaf?
NO! While other breeds have had the splash gene possibly linked to deafness,
there has been no evidence of deafness in our bloodlines. The stallion our
program is based on: Moonlight Money Maker (MMM) is not deaf, nor were his
sire (Blaz-ons Bandit) or grand-sire (The Boogeyman) who were both blue
eyed black splash. All of our splash Arabian foals have been fine, none have
been deaf. MMM's first splash grand-daughter STM Eureka, born 2007, is also
not deaf.
Do you deliver/haul horses?
NO; We are temporarily unable to haul horses as our truck has bit the dust-until
we can replace our truck no hauling. Sorry for any inconvience this may cause.
Do you accept payment terms on sale horses?
Sort of. We will accept payment terms with the following conditions: a 1/3
deposit must be paid in full up front and is non-refundable. Balance to be paid
in full by the end of 60 days. We MAY accept other payment terms on a case
by case basis. Usually a term of a year is acceptable for the balance, horse
will remain in our name until paid in full and a purchase contract is required.
There are other restrictions, inquire. All payments are NON-refundable.
Do you offer leases or lease to purchase?
Yes we do. See our special programs page for details.
Do you accept trades for horses/stud fees?
Possibly. We will consider partial trades on our sale horses for a 4 wheel drive
truck with tow package in excellent condition or cob sized Meadowbrook cart.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, US Postal Money orders or Paypal. Credit cards are accepted
through Paypal. Due to the large number of Internet scams we DO NOT accept
bank checks, cashier checks or wire transfers of any kind. Payment must be
made 2-3 weeks prior to ship/pick up date to allow funds to clear. All
payments are non-refundable upon receipt. We will only accept payment for the
exact purchase price of the horse plus vet expenses if extra. Buyer is
responsible for all shipping fees and they must be paid directly to the shipper,
we will not broker the shipping. Overpayment will result in forfeiture of the over
paid funds at our discretion.
Shipping & Waiting Periods:
Horses may be picked up 2-3 weeks after payment has been made. In certain
situations the waiting period may be extended to 4 - 6 weeks. There is no
board charge during the waiting period but a liability waiver is required.
